Book Review: Thinner This Year

Book Review: In Thinner This Year, the authors seem to target an audience that are mainly over 40. I wish I had known that before I read it (can you sense the enthusiasm in my voice/writing?). OK, enough of that. It was a good and informative read, but quite honestly it is not one of my favorite weight loss books. The narrative takes place between two authors ( 2 authors with two different writing styles, which can be confusing at times) and though there's lots of humor in the story telling aspect of it, the authors don't seem to take into account the "human" aspect of dieting, and the fact that everyone falls off the wagon sometimes and that this is completely "normal". In fact, the authors' no nonsense approach to dieting and exercise in this book is exactly what makes it unappealing to me. They seem to have forgotten that though everyone already knows that eating healthy and working out on a daily basis will ultimately leads to weight-loss, IT IS JUST NOT THAT EASY!

I just couldn’t understand. So when I read the reviews on this book, I thought “maybe if I understand why I do the things I do (or don’t do), I can then figure out a way for me to lose the weight and get my life back once and for all”.
